I am an interpreter based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I interpret for German, Czech and French, usually for the Council, Inland revenue, Dept for work and pension, sometimes for GPs, prisons, the border agency etc etc. My interests are music (classical and world-music), I sing in 3 choirs, I like walking, swimming (sea or lake), I like children, and I have also worked with the elderly and adults with special needs. I am John Balla Marah a Sierra Leonean by nationality. I am first born of five children from Kamaron in the Koinadugu district northern Sierra Leone. My father is called rev. The coaltion is working on the eradication of harmful traditional practices such as early and forceful marriage especially female genital Mutilation in Sierra Leone which has led to the death of several girls and women.
